Artistic Director—Steve Leaver
Steve Leaver has worked with Imagination Theater since 1997 and has been the Artistic Director with the company since 2001. He oversees all of the programming at the theater, leads staff development workshops and customized programming for schools, and coordinates the ‘No Secrets’ CSAPP program. In addition to his work at Imagination Theater, Steve teaches acting courses at the Metropolis Performing Arts Center in Arlington Heights IL, which he has been doing since 2002. Steve has worked as a professional actor with many theaters in the Chicago area. He holds a BS in theater from Illinois State University.

Marketing Manager—Jeremy Schaefer
Jeremy joined IT in 2006 as an ensemble member. He graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University, where he earned a BFA in Theatre and a BA in Religion and served on the Publicity Team for IWU’s School of Theatre Arts as well as the Managing Committee for it’s student-run Pheonix Theatre. He has since trained at Improv Olympic Chicago and has improvised with Storybox Theatre (while serving as Road Manager), pH Productions, The Improv Playhouse and The Blind Mice Trio. Jeremy has also worked with First Folio Shakespeare Festival, Janus Theatre, and with The Big Picture Group, and has performed stand-up in venues around Chicago and London. Jeremy has also worked as Shift Supervisor at Starbucks Coffee.

Program Director, Senior Spotlight—Bethany Jorgensen
Bethany joined IT as a Social Issues ensemble member 7 years ago, and shortly thereafter helped originate the Senior Spotlight show in its current form. Bethany has also performed in Chicago with such companies as Live Bait Theater (Blind Tasting - Jeff Award, Best Original Work), Shapeshifters Theatre (2005 Best Production, Acting Irish International Theatre Fest), First Folio, Raven Theatre, Signal Ensemble and Remy Bumppo. She has also performed in The Goodman Theater’s annual production of A Christmas Carol for 4 consecutive years.
