Let’s Talk…—Communicating Effectively
Specifically designed for teenage audiences, this show teaches communication skills as they apply to conversations with parents, teachers, and peers. Through interactive exercises, teens are given the opportunity to practice ‘open communication’ about various issues such as classroom problems, difficult relationships at home, sex, and depression. Focusing on verbal and non-verbal skills, the words we choose and how they affect others around us, this show teaches students to problem-solve, validate others' feelings, and most importantly, to listen.
