Senior Spotlight
For the past twelve years Imagination Theater has been presenting Senior Spotlight to senior facilities throughout the city of Chicago. The production uses singing, dancing and interaction with the audience to activate the audience’s memories and imaginations and stimulate social interactions. The presentation has been an overwhelming success, and has been shown to increase the confidence of the participants, to increase a sense of play and imagination, and to increase interaction with others, both residents and visitors.

Senior Spotlight: Swingin' with the USO!
This year’s program, brought to you with the generous support of the Rothschild Foundation, takes its senior audiences on a trip down memory lane to the 1940s. In a time frought with hardship but filled with national pride, this glimpse into the past features the joyful and jazzy sounds of famous USO stars like The Andrews Sisters, Bob Hope, and Mitch Miller! Seniors are treated to a performance of laughing, dancing, four-part harmony, sing-a-longs and guest appearances. It’s a magical hour where the audience members are the real stars of the show.
